Anamaria Marinca, born in Romania, is an actress. She received the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress for the Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. Her father is a theatre instructor at one of Romania's most prestigious drama schools. She won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 in the Mangalia Young Actor Gala. In 2008, the European Film Promotion Board recognized her as the first European Shooting Star. She taught for four months at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria Marinca is a Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April, 1978. Apart from her amazing performance in Sex Traffic, Anamaria Marinca will be remembered for the role she played in Romanian artist film 4 months 3, Weeks, 2 Days. This film received a number of awards, including being awarded the European Film Award Best Actress given by the London Film Critics. In 2007, she was in on the Romanian film 4 luni 3 saptamani si2 (4 Three Weeks, Four Months 4 Months 3 Weeks and 2 days) 4 months 3 weeks 2 days, directed composed by Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days). The film received two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize from the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also part of her career. She was also in 2008 as Yasim Anwar in the BBC 5-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Later, she had major roles in 2014's Fury in which she portrayed Irma her German Aunt of Emma.
