Aura Sanchez Garrido performs as an actress on Spanish TV and films. She's appeared on TV as well as in films such Stockholm. Garrido was born in Madrid, in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is a conductor of orchestras and composer, while Pilar Sanchez paints. When she was just four years old, she started her first piano lessons and began to practice ballet. She is fluent in English because she had an American-born best friend in her childhood. When she finished her high school education, she went to the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. There she studied interpreter for three years, with a focus on translation of text. But she quit at the end of 2010 after she secured a role in Planes para manana. Her nomination for a Goya Award under the category of best emerging actress, and won the Silver Biznaga award for her performance in the film.
