Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Kent in Gravesend. Greater London. She is most famous for roles in films including Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and many more like 'Hansel & Grete: Witch Hunters. Her birthplace was in Gravesend (Kent), Greater London where she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She began her career after taking classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and made her film debut with a supporting role in the comedy film 'St. Trinian's'. The film followed shortly thereafter in "Quantum of Solace" The James Bond spy thriller. It was a commercial success and got mostly favorable reviews. Then she played the lead female character in the fantasy action movie "Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time". More recently, she played an supporting part on the French film "Orphan". Arterton received nominations for a variety of awards in her professional career. She won the "Empire Award for the Best Newcomer" for her performance in the film "Quantum of Solace" and also her "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her role in the musical'Made by Dagenham". The award also went to her for with the Glamour Award for the Woman of the Year in 2011.
